Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team at our Chembur office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, managing statutory filings, and supporting internal reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• RM (Raw Material) purchase entry and GRN booking

• Payment processing for suppliers and vendors

• Payment entry and bill booking in Tally

• Invoice booking and digital invoicing

• Bank reconciliation and ledger preparation

• Issuing invoices and delivery challans

• Preparation of ledger statements

Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns

• Timely payments of TDS, TCS, and other statutory dues

• Filing of TDS returns and other statutory reports

Scrutiny & Corrections:

• Ledger scrutiny and corrections of accounting entries

• GRN verification with PO forms

• Identification and clearance of missing entries

MIS & Reporting:

• Preparation of TDS summaries and quantity-wise summaries

• Maintenance of sundry creditors list

• Management reporting and internal presentations

• Participation in team meetings and training sessions

Expense Accounting:

• Data entry and regular updating of expense records

• Verification of employee expense statements

• Maintaining accurate expense documentation and records

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Tally and MS Excel

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
