Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be capable of handling various financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and contributing to the smooth running of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies.
Book keeping: Process day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, receipts, and petty cash management.
General Ledger: Post and reconcile transactions in the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile company bank accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Tax Compliance: Assist with VAT/GST filings, payroll taxes, and other tax-related responsibilities.
Audit Support: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and assisting with inquiries.
Expense Management: Review and process expense claims, ensuring they are in line with company policies.
Budgeting Support: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, tracking expenses against budgeted figures.
Accounts Closing: Assist in the preparation and closing of accounts at month-end and year-end, ensuring accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (1-2 years) as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
