Job Description:
As an Accountant at Sejal Engineering, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Monitor and track financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare tax filings and assist with audits and financial reporting.

• Maintain and update accounting systems and records.

• Provide general accounting support to senior finance staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance

• Proven experience in accounting or finance (2 years preferred).

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
