Position Title: Accounting Executive

The Accounting Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in accounting software and financial processes.
Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, expense reports, and financial transactions.
Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities as needed.
Support external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
Reconcile accounts and analyze variances.
Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems regularly.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–3 years of accounting experience (depending on seniority level).
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
