Opus Industries is seeking a dedicated Accounts Executive for its AAC block manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, vendor payments, stock and material reconciliation, and financial reporting related to plant operations. Prior experience in a manufacturing unit is essential.
Record all financial transactions related to raw material purchases, plant expenses, and production costs in Tally/ERP.
Maintain books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and vouchers.
Monitor inward/outward movement of raw materials and finished goods.
Reconcile physical stock with book stock.
Assist in maintaining costing data (CBM, per unit cost of production).
Process vendor bills related to cement, fly ash, lime, diesel, machinery, etc.
Ensure timely payment to vendors and maintain payable records.
Resolve any payment discrepancies or disputes with vendors.
Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC).
Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates and ensure timely filing.
Maintain proper documentation for all statutory compliance.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Manage and report on daily cash expenses, including petty cash for plant operations.
Prepare plant-related MIS reports: material consumption, production vs dispatch analysis, expense summaries.
Assist in generating CBM-wise sales and dispatch data for internal review.
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audit requirements.
Maintain proper filing of invoices, delivery challans, and payment proofs.
B.Com / M.Com or MBA (Finance).
2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing accounting, preferably building materials.
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and plant-level cost accounting.
Ability to coordinate with plant operations and procurement departments.
