About the Job

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Accounts Associate to join our finance and compliance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of core accounting functions and statutory compliance, with hands-on experience in managing daily financial operations across GST, TDS, and income tax filings. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in a structured finance environment with diverse responsibilities across bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software (Tally preferred).

• Handle end-to-end vendor payments, including tax deductions (TDS) and timely reconciliation of vendor accounts.

• Prepare and issue client and vendor invoices in compliance with GST guidelines.

• File monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle reconciliation with GSTR-2B.

• File TDS returns (Form 26Q, 27Q, etc.) and issue TDS certificates (Form 16A).

• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and other key accounts regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com required)

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a CA firm or within the industry

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance and return filing

• Experience with accounting software such as Tally,

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong reconciliation and analysis skills

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
