Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Cost Control: o Provide accurate data on past financial trends, identifying areas of wastage, and propose corrective actions to reduce financial losses.
2. Bookkeeping & Account Maintenance: o Maintain all books of accounts accurately and ensure they are updated at all times.
3. Debtors Management: o Follow up on overdue debtors consistently and report outstanding debts to management periodically.
4. Sales Invoices & Payments: o Ensure prompt raising of sales invoices, and ensure advances and due payments are received on time as per sales order terms.
5. Vendor Payments: o Ensure timely payment to vendors and other parties in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
6. Meeting Participation: o Attend governance meetings and other relevant meetings as required.
7. Coordination with CA/CFA: o Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chief Financial Advisor (CFA) to ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory returns.
8. Audit Cooperation: o Provide full cooperation to auditors during audits and ensure the required documentation is made available.
9. Bank Relations & Transactions: o Liaise with banks for daily banking requirements and maintain good relationships with bank representatives.
10. Bank Charges Monitoring: o Ensure that all bank charges levied are in accordance with the agreement with the bank(s).
11. Team Cooperation: o Provide support and cooperation to the finance team and other departments in their day-to-day financial requirements.
12. Policy Compliance: o Ensure adherence to company policies and protocols at all times.
13. Fiscal Policy Updates: o Stay informed about changes in fiscal policies and regularly update the directors about any relevant changes.
Skills & Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● Proven experience in accounting and financial management.
● Strong understanding of financial principles, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance.
● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
● Attention to detail and accuracy.
● Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
