Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive male Accounts Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to support the accounts team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, Tally and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry and ledger maintenance

• Record financial transactions accurately in accounting software (e.g., Tally)

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions

• Prepare bank reconciliations and support monthly closings

• Maintain and organize financial documents and records

• Assist in generating invoices, billing, and follow-ups on payments

• Support audit processes by preparing required documentation

• Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payment and invoice queries

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

• Perform other ad-hoc finance or administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role

• Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, Tally

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
