Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our Chartered Accountant firm with daily accounting and taxation tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a CA office and possess strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, and basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.

• Assist in GST return preparation and filing.

• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoice preparation, and ledger maintenance.

• Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation.

• Assist in bank reconciliation and other routine accounting tasks.

• Support the senior accountant/CA in audits and compliance work.

• Manage MS Excel and Word-based reports, worksheets, and documentation.

• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of assigned assignments.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP.

• Good understanding of GST laws, returns, and compliance.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

• Good communication skills and ability to multitask.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce).

• 1–2 years of experience in a Chartered Accountant Firm is mandatory.

Additional Details

• Male candidates preferred.

• Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work independently when required.
