Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Receivable Management:
• Oversee end-to-end AR operations including billing, collections, reconciliation, and aging analysis. • Monitor and drive timely collection of outstanding dues from TPAs, corporates, government schemes, and patients.
• Ensure accurate posting and allocation of receipts.
• Process & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, statutory norms, and compliance with TPA and insurance contracts.
• Implement and monitor controls to minimize revenue leakages and fraud.
• TPA & Corporate Account Handling:
• Coordinate with TPA desks across units for timely claim submission, approvals, and collections.
• Build strong relationships with TPA representatives and corporate clients for dispute resolution. MIS & Reporting: • Prepare and present AR dashboards, collection reports, aging analysis, and KPIs to management. • Highlight delays, risks, and high outstanding accounts with suggested action plans. • Team Leadership: • Lead, mentor, and evaluate AR teams across hospitals. • Drive best practices, training, and process standardization across units. • Audit & Reconciliation: • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations with TPAs, patients, and accounting records. • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Reduction in AR days (DSO) • Collection efficiency (% of due collected vs. billed) • Dispute resolution turnaround time • Reconciliation accuracy • Team productivity
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification. 10–15 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in a multi-unit hospital or healthcare organization. Prior experience managing TPA, CGHS/ESIC, and corporate billing is essential. Strong knowledge of healthcare billing processes, insurance regulations, and hospital revenue cycles.
