Job Title: Cost Accountant and Finance ExecutiveCompany: ARASPL Steels Private LimitedLocation: Kolkata Department: Accounts & FinanceJob Summary:The Cost Accountant and Finance Executive will be responsible for managing cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role involves preparing cost statements, maintaining financial records, analyzing variances, and supporting management in strategic financial planning to improve profitability and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain cost sheets, budgets, and variance reports.Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.Monitor production, transportation, and fabrication expenses for accurate cost allocation.Handle day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts.Assist in internal and statutory audits with proper documentation.Manage vendor payments, purchase orders, and accounts payable/receivable.Coordinate with management for cost control and financial decision-making.Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.Support in preparing project-based costing and profitability analysis.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of costing principles and financial accounting.Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.Good analytical and numerical ability.Understanding of GST, TDS, and tax filing procedures.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.Qualifications:B.Com / M.Com / ICWA (Inter or Final) / CA (Inter) preferred.2–5 years of experience in cost accounting and finance, preferably in steel, manufacturing, or fabrication industry.Work Schedule:Office Timing: 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Monday to Saturday)
