Job Title: Part-Time Accountant

Availability: Must be able to visit our Mahape office as needed

EASTSIDE Perfumes is a fast-growing startup in the fragrance industry, powered by a young and ambitious team. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a reliable and experienced accountant to manage our finances and ensure smooth compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete financial records, including bookkeeping, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements

• File monthly/quarterly GST returns and ensure overall tax compliance

• Handle income tax filings, TDS returns, and other statutory obligations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Prepare and present financial reports to the founder/team as needed

• Apply for relevant MSME/startup schemes, government subsidies, or grants

• Coordinate with CAs or legal consultants when required

• Visit the Mahape office occasionally for reviews or internal audits

Requirements

• Proven accounting experience, preferably with startups or small businesses

• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards

• Proficient in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar software

• Self-starter with ability to independently manage company accounts

• Familiarity with MSME/startup incentives is a big plus

• Residing in or near Navi Mumbai, with flexibility to visit Mahape office occasionally
