Key Responsibilities
Financial Transactions:
Record daily financial transactions in accounting software.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and bank deposits.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budget Management:
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
Provide variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgets.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, VAT, TDS, or other applicable taxes.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
Auditing:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Maintain records and documents required for audits.
Payroll Management:
Process employee payroll and ensure timely payments.
Maintain records of employee benefits, bonuses, and deductions.
Bank Reconciliation:
Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
Compliance and Policy Adherence:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Implement and adhere to company financial policies and procedures.
Cost Management:
Monitor and manage costs to enhance profitability.
Analyze and reduce operational expenses where necessary.
Support to Management:
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Assist in developing financial strategies for business growth.
