Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records in-house and managing occasional external tasks, including interactions with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

In-House Accounting Tasks:

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).

• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, vouchers, and receipts.

• Help with bank reconciliation and daily cash flow reports.

• Assist in preparation of monthly reports and basic financial statements.

• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.

• Ensure accurate data entry into accounting software.

• Help in maintaining compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).

Bank and External Responsibilities:

• Visit banks for depositing/withdrawing cheques, collecting statements, and delivering documents.

• Liaise with bank officials for regular transactions and updates.

• Assist in documentation for bank-related processes like account openings, fund transfers, or loan paperwork.

• Handle physical submissions or collections from clients/vendors if needed.
