Job Title: Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

o Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end closure.

o Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and

cash flow statements.

o Manage plant-related invoices, bill processing, and account reconciliations.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

o Assist in the preparation of plant budgets and forecasts.

o Analyse variances between budgeted and actual results, providing insights for decisionmaking.

3. Cost Control & Analysis:

o Monitor plant costs and expenses to ensure they are in line with budgetary guidelines.

o Prepare cost analyses to improve plant operational efficiency.

4. Compliance & Auditing:

o Ensure compliance with company policies, local tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

o Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit schedules for the plant.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

o Manage accounts payable and receivable functions specific to the plant.

o Process payments and receipts in a timely and efficient manner.

6. Inventory & Asset Management:

o Oversee inventory valuation and asset tracking, ensuring that records are accurate and up-todate.

o Conduct periodic inventory audits to verify stock levels and minimize discrepancies.

7. Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

o Implement and maintain effective internal controls and procedures.

o Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of

accounting practices.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing setting
