About the Role:

R COLD STORAGE is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, assist in tax compliance, and support accurate financial reporting. This position offers excellent exposure to practical accounting and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).

• Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation.

• Record daily financial transactions accurately using TallyPrime, Excel, or ERP systems.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

• Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy in all financial entries.

• Prepare financial summaries and reports for management review.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce or Accounting.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, or a fresher who has completed at least 1 year of training under a Chartered Accountant.

• Sound understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.

• Proficiency in TallyPrime, MS Excel, and related accounting tools.

• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
