Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage and maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Handle general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Assist with tax preparation, filings, and audits.

• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Maintain and update internal accounting databases and systems.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1 year of proven experience in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS).

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle).

• Excellent MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
