• Financial record-keeping:

  Documenting all financial transactions and organizing financial records.

• Reconciliation:

  Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and studying account information and reconciling statements each month. 

Additional responsibilities

• Accounts management: Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sometimes payroll. 

• Risk assessment: Identifying and assessing financial risks. 

• Management consultation: Advising management on financial matters, such as cost reduction and profit maximization. 

• Technology adoption: Utilizing accounting software and, increasingly, AI and automation to improve efficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel functions

• Knowledge of current accounting policies, regulations, and trends
