Job Title: Senior Accountant – GST & TDS Tally ERP 9

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the organization’s payroll operations, ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Indian taxation laws, payroll processing systems, and accounting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:Payroll Management:

• Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.

• Handle salary structure, deductions, reimbursements, bonus, and leave encashments.

• Reconcile payroll with financial records and prepare payroll-related reports.

• Ensure timely payment and filing of PF, ESI, and professional tax.

GST Compliance:

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).

• Ensure correct input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation.

• Stay updated with latest GST laws, amendments, and notifications.

• Coordinate with auditors for GST audits and assessments.

TDS Management:

• Deduct and deposit TDS on salaries, contracts, and professional service

• Manage quarterly TDS reconciliation and correction of mismatches.

General Accounting:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ledgers.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

• Assist in internal and statutory audits.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in payroll, GST, and TDS management.

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and labor laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally,).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
