Job Description:
Financial Record-Keeping:
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and report variances to management.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with school policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Payroll Management:
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to staff.
Manage employee benefits and deductions.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in an educational setting.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
