we are is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid understanding of accounting processes, particularly in the logistics and freight forwarding sectors. We highly prefer candidates residing near our Okhla office.
Prepare and file accurate GST returns, and reconcile GST input/output.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, deposit, and return filing.
Perform timely and precise bank reconciliations.
Assist in journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
Support accounts payable/receivable, including invoice handling and payment follow-ups.
Apply accounting standards specific to logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
Manage financial entries related to transportation, shipping, and customs duties.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Draft clear, professional emails and reports in English for internal and external communication.
Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
1–3 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar accounting role.
Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance is highly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
Proven experience in bank reconciliation and general accounting tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books (specify if applicable).
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Female, married candidates residing near Okhla are preferred, though male candidates are welcome to apply.
