Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ahmedabad

Reports To: Finance Manager / Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.

• Support audits (internal and external) and implement audit recommendations.

• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.

• Generate financial analysis and reports for management review.

• Use accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/CMA preferred for senior roles).

• Proven experience as an accountant (1–5+ years depending on role level).

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws (for India-based roles).

• Familiarity with financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).

• Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
