Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and support budgeting and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations

• Prepare and examine financial records, reports, and statements

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

• Prepare GST, TDS, and income tax returns and ensure timely compliance

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow statements

• Assist with audits, both internal and external

• Maintain confidentiality of financial data

• Monitor financial transactions and accounting best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven work experience as an Accountant (typically 2+ years)

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP)

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial analysis

• Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com is a plus

• Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., retail, manufacturing, service]

• Familiarity with ERP systems
