Job Title: Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations based on financial performance.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

• Audit & Internal Controls: Support internal and external audits, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Accounting System Management: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for day-to-day accounting operations and report generation.

• Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Present financial findings to management.

• Cost Control: Monitor expenses and recommend cost-cutting measures to improve overall financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting,

• Experience: Minimum of [6] months of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a solid understanding of financial accounting practices.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel,

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
