The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
Prepare and verify financial statements, invoices, and vouchers.
Process accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Prepare tax returns and coordinate audits.
Generate financial reports for management review.
Maintain accurate and timely filing of accounting documents.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Support other departments with financial data and reporting as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
