Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, TDS, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally / ERP / Accounting Software

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and handle GST-related queries

• Handle TDS computation, deductions, return filing, and reconciliation

• Manage Sales, Purchase, Expense entries & Journal entries

• Prepare Monthly, Quarterly & Annual financial reports

• Assist in finalization of accounts and audit documentation

• Track outstanding payments & follow-ups with clients/vendors

• Manage Payroll entries and statutory compliance (PF/ESI if applicable)

• Maintain Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation

• Support inventory accounting (if applicable)

• Coordinate with banks, vendors, clients, and auditors

• Maintain proper documentation and record keeping

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / SAP (as applicable)

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Accounting Standards

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP / Pivot Table preferred)

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
