Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT/GST filings, and other regulatory reports.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and safeguard company assets.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA/ACCA qualification preferred).
Proven work experience as an Accountant (X–Y years depending on level).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
