ob Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with real estate regulations and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns in compliance with government regulations.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and project cost analyses.

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Handle vendor payments, tenant collections, and contractor invoices.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for management review.

• Audit & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to real estate financial regulations.

• Lease Accounting: Maintain records of lease agreements, rent schedules, and tenant security deposits.

• Coordination with Stakeholders: Work closely with property managers, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience: Minimum [X] years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).

  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.

  • Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
