Job Summary:

A results-driven and detail-oriented Accountant with 5 years of experience in managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. Proficient in handling day-to-day accounting operations, budgeting, taxation, auditing, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and financial statements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and assist in tax return filings (VAT, GST, Corporate Tax, etc.).

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation.

• Monitor cash flow and bank transactions; perform bank reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for regulatory purposes.

• Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for efficient bookkeeping and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA preferred).

• 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or professional setting.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
