Role Overview
DECFORT is looking for a Sales Executive to convert enquiries into confirmed interior and renovation projects. The role covers lead generation, client consultations, quotation follow-up, negotiation and deal closure, followed by a clear handover to the design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Follow Up
Handle enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, the website, social media, referrals and marketing campaigns. Generate additional leads through networking and outbound calls.
Qualify prospects by understanding their property, location, requirements, budget, possession status and expected project timeline.
Maintain timely follow-ups, schedule office consultations and site visits, and keep every lead updated in the CRM with a clear next action.
Consultation and Sales Closure
Understand client needs and explain DECFORT services, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, home interiors, renovation and turnkey execution.
Present portfolios, material samples and finish options. Coordinate with designers and estimators to prepare accurate quotations and explain the proposed scope and inclusions.
Address objections, negotiate within approved pricing limits and close orders. Obtain approval before offering discounts or committing to changes in scope, specifications or delivery dates.
Coordinate order confirmation, agreements and booking payments with the client and accounts team according to approved company terms.
Project Handover and Client Coordination
Hand over confirmed projects with complete requirements, approved quotation, agreed scope, payment details and documented client commitments.
Coordinate sales clarifications with the design and execution teams, support a smooth client transition, and request referrals from satisfied customers.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum qualification: 12th standard; a diploma or graduation in any discipline is preferred.
Preferably 1 to 3 years of sales experience in interiors, renovation, real estate, furniture, building materials or a related service business.
Demonstrated ability to conduct client meetings, handle objections, negotiate and close sales independently.
Clear spoken and written communication in English. Hindi, Kannada or other local language skills are an advantage.
Comfort using CRM software, Excel or Google Sheets, email and WhatsApp for business communication and reporting.
Willingness to travel within Bengaluru for client meetings and site visits. A two wheeler and valid driving licence are preferred.
Basic understanding of interior materials, finishes and project scope, or willingness to learn these quickly.
Work Expectations
Take ownership of the sales process from first enquiry to confirmed order, with consistent follow-up and clear communication.
Attend scheduled office reporting, client meetings and site visits punctually; maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
Submit daily activity updates covering calls, qualified leads, meetings, quotations, follow-ups, closures and the next day’s plan.
Maintain accurate client records and protect confidential client information, pricing and company documents.
Performance Measures
Performance will be reviewed against targets agreed with management, including:
Monthly confirmed sales value and number of orders closed.
Qualified leads generated and conversion from enquiry to meeting and from quotation to order.
Timely follow-up, CRM accuracy and reliability of the sales pipeline forecast.
Booking payment coordination, complete project handovers and quality of client communication.
Salary and Incentives
Fixed salary will be based on experience and demonstrated sales ability. Performance incentives, monthly targets and applicable conditions will be communicated and agreed during selection.
