Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
· Identify and approach new potential customers in the manufacturing, fabrication, and machinery sectors.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, workshops, distributors, and industrial buyers.
· Regularly visit clients’ sites to understand their spare part requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Product Knowledge & Consultation:
· Understand the specifications and applications of stainless-steel metal spare parts (e.g., flanges, fittings, fasteners, valves, sheets, rods, etc.).
· Provide technical advice to clients regarding material selection, grades, compatibility, and applications.
· Keep updated with market trends and competitor products to better position offerings.
3. Quotation & Order Management:
· Prepare and submit quotations as per customer inquiries.
· Negotiate prices and payment terms within the approved guidelines.
· Follow up on quotations to convert leads into confirmed orders.
· Coordinate with the logistics/supply team to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales calls, leads, and order status.
· Submit daily/weekly reports to the Sales Manager.
· Track customer feedback and relay product improvement suggestions to management.
5. After-Sales Support:
· Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving product or delivery issues.
· Collect payments and coordinate with the accounts team for any pending dues.
· Conduct post-sale follow-ups to maintain long-term customer relationships.
📚 Required Skills & Knowledge:
· Sound knowledge of stainless-steel metal spare parts (grades, uses, industry standards).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently in the field.
· Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and mobile reporting apps.
· Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
🎓 Qualifications:
· Minimum: 12th Pass / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
· Experience: 1–3 years in industrial sales or relevant field preferred.
