Field Purchase Executive:
To support the procurement team by coordinating and executing field-level purchasing activities, ensuring timely availability of materials, consumables, and services required for smooth plant operations. The role involves market visits, vendor coordination, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and sourcing vendors for materials, spare parts, and services required at the plant site.
Conduct field visits to local markets and suppliers for quotation collection, price comparison, and negotiation.
Prepare purchase requisitions, collect quotations, and support purchase order processing.
Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery and resolve issues related to shortages, quality, or delays.
Coordinate with the stores team for stock replenishment and urgent purchase needs.
Assist in cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for vendor development.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of local markets and vendor networks.
Negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in field conditions.
Time management and problem-solving skills.
Qualification & Experience:
12th/Graduate/Diploma
1–2 years of experience in field procurement or purchase assistance (preferably in industrial/plant setup).
Freshers with good aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
