Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in traditional tandoor cooking techniques and capable of preparing high-quality breads, kebabs, and clay-oven specialties while maintaining consistency, speed, and authentic flavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor items including naan, roti, kulcha, paratha, tandoori chicken, kebabs, fish, and other clay-oven dishes.

• Manage the tandoor oven, ensuring correct temperature control and fuel management.

• Marinate meats and vegetables according to standard recipes and taste profiles.

• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor station in compliance with food safety standards.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.

• Monitor inventory of tandoor ingredients and report shortages to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.

• Assist with menu development and introduction of new tandoor items when required.
