Job Description: Solution Architect – AV (Audio-Video)

Role Overview

The Solution Architect – AV will be responsible for designing Audio-Video solutions based on client requirements, drawings, and site conditions. The candidate will support the sales team in technical discussions, prepare solution presentations, answer customer queries, and play an important role in closing business deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Study client requirements, BOQs, and architectural drawings to design complete AV solutions.

• Prepare system designs, schematics, and solution documents.

• Create AV layouts, equipment lists, and technical proposals.

• Assist the sales team in client meetings with technical presentations and clarifications.

• Handle customer queries related to AV technologies, products, and integration.

• Conduct site visits whenever required to understand technical feasibility.

• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical inputs, product selection, and pricing.

• Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and aligned with project requirements.

• Support project teams during handover for proper implementation of the designed solution.

• Contribute to achieving business closures through effective pre-sales support.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in AV system design or pre-sales (preferred in System Integration industry).

• Good understanding of AV products such as displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, switchers, DSPs, video conferencing systems, etc.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of related ELV systems such as surveillance, fire, EPABX, or networking (added advantage).

• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/Visio is a plus.

Education

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field (preferred).

• Ability to work closely with sales and project teams.

Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
