Job Title: Accountant (CA Preferred) Location: Delhi – Sultanpur, MG Road Experience: 1–3 years (CA Inter / Newly Qualified CA preferred) Industry: FMCG / Consumer Goods / Stationery / E-commerce Role Overview: We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, compliance, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, statutory filings, and experience working with Tally. Experience with e-commerce marketplace accounting is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping • Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally. • Record day-to-day transactions including sales, purchases, journal entries, debit/credit notes, and adjustments. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payment cycles, and vendor reconciliations. 2. Reconciliations • Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations. • Reconcile marketplace settlements for Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy Instamart. • Track and reconcile commissions, platform deductions, returns, and chargebacks. 3. Compliance • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual filings). • Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and quarterly TDS return filings. • Ensure statutory compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation. 4. Financial Reporting • Prepare monthly MIS reports, profitability analysis, ageing reports, and variance summaries. • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. • Support internal and statutory audits with required schedules and documentation. 5. Inventory & Costing • Manage inventory accounting and coordinate with warehouse/operations teams. • Assist with SKU-level costing, margin analysis, and monthly/annual stock valuation. • Monitor stock adjustments and resolve discrepancies with operations. Skills & Requirements: • CA Inter / Newly Qualified CA strongly preferred. • 1–3 years of experience in accounting. • Strong grasp of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances. • Proficiency in Tally and Excel/Google Sheets. • Experience in e-commerce accounting (preferred). • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
